He is too young to know how to pop the rocks into the bed of the dump truck but he puts them in the hole, turns it over and spins the wheels — he loves wheels. If I pop the rocks in, he pulls the bed back by hand to get them out — he doesn’t know how to use the lever. He can’t walk so he can’t pull the truck by the string but he laughs when I pull it and crawls…
Perfect for a First Birthday!! Edited: I took off two stars because after calling VTech, I’m not able to order replacement balls for this truck. We have so many little plastic balls in our house, some by Vtech, some by FP, some by PlaySkool… but all of those are too big. So now we are down to one ball, and I can’t order more, even after talking to Customer Service at Vtech. I was informed that they are not making replacement balls available. I’m bummed. They should make replacements, since these little balls are so easy to…
Great buy! I recommend this toy! My 8 mo old loves to play with the plastic rocks and is fascinated by the lever. The jingles are catchy too- not super annoying and creepy like some baby toys.
