Let the chase begin! Inspired by the Thomas & Friends DVD, Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure, the Track Master Treasure Chase Set from Fisher-Price captures all the fun-filled action and adventure of the movie! Skiff the rail-boat is trying to escape with the lost treasure, but Thomas won’t let him get away without an exciting chase! Load the treasure cargo piece into the shed at Brendam Docks so it slides down into Skiff’s hull. As Thomas speeds past the shed, Skiff is released down a separate track, and when Skiff hits the water, the treasure is dislodged from his hull. Thomas races into the water, but – oh no! – he gets stuck in the waves! Press the button to release the stop-track and free Thomas, so he can continue on his journey. For even more railway fun, motorized Thomas can push Skiff around the track.

As each grandson got to age 2, they discovered the delight and imagination found in these. We watch the cartoons and read the books. Good fun. Their giggles and…

Well done theme, but not perfect. Fun, well made set for a child, It reminds me of those particular Hot Wheels sets that have themes, which initially are exciting, but after a few rounds you’ll be over it and go on using the track for your own layouts. I have to admit, the theme is kind of cool. I love when Thomas hits the water and the simulated waves pop up, however, Thomas will wait until your child presses the button before the train continues on. The initial interaction is good, but that continuous stopping kind of breaks…

Much much better quality. Hunk of junk. There are two curved rails. When you connect one it pushes the other out of alignment. This is so cheaply made its staggering. I took it back immediately. Stick with the wooden Thomas sets. Much much better quality.
