They magnets are strong enough to carry up to 60 times their weight! The Basic 25 includes 12 short magnetic bars, 4 long magnetic bars, 9 magnetic balls and a guide to build models. Toy is great, but absolutely not worth the price!! My 2.5 year old does enjoy these — and I like playing with them too! — but definitely not worth the price (even though I paid less than this on group on). There are only enough pieces to make one cube with one ball left over. The structures aren’t too strong either. Fun for my 1.5 year old My son first played with these at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. Once he put one of the metal balls on the magnetic rod and realized it would stick, he made another one and carried them around just like that.
