GREAT marble run, fun to build and cool to use This is a toy that will have a looonnnng life span, especially if you are buying it for a 6 year old child! My son is 10 and still plays with his, and we’ve had highschool kids at our home who also love this marble run. While it seems flimsy, the pieces are really quite durable, and it is the “flimsy” look that makes the marble run look so cool when marbles are racing around it (and the marbles will go fast) – compared to say, the chunky wood ones.We have the equivalent of two of these sets, my son got one for his birthday and I picked up another at a yard sale. He and his younger siblings play with these constantly, making truly impressive marble runs. They are into experimentation too, “What if we take out this section and add in these two pieces”.My only suggestion, if you are buying for an older child, is that you might want to consider a larger set.Also, just FYI, my younger kids have some trouble setting this up on the rug. A flat surface…
