Much smaller than you think. I was surprised by how little it was. Plan Toys recommends this toy for 3 year olds but it would be much too small for that size of a tot. It is a good size for my 15 month old now and she loves it but we had hoped we purchased something that she could have for awhile and grow into.The smaller tom tom does not make much of a drum noise. The larger one makes a good bass sound and the cymbal sounds good too.
good sound the cymbal part falls off too easily, otherwise my son loved it when he was only 20 months and he still loves it today. Though, i can’t say we’re making any friends with any of the neighbors…
Good SHORT drum I love the drum part. It sounds great. I like that it’s made out of wood with a natural look. But seriously, what’s up with the legs being 10 inches tall?? I got this for my 4 year old and it was kind of a joke. Fortunately, I was able to go to the home improvement store and get some new rods and make some much taller legs for it. Now it looks more respectable. They should either lower the price or put on longer legs.
