20 mo and 5yr old love it!!!! Our kids, 5 years, and 20 months old, go this as a Christmas present. It has been played with constantly since. We have not had any issues with it yet. Will comment later if any come up. Melissa and doug have probably fixed the key hole problem mentioned in the other review (from a few years ago). looks great…but I purchased this toy based on my past experiences with the wonderful quality of Melissa & Doug products–also the fact that my 3 year-old son sat on the floor of the toystore and played with this (w/o batteries) for over a 1/2 hour! Fun but the keys are hard to use My daughter (3.5 yrs) got this as a gift, and she was thrilled with it at first. The doorbells are fun to ring (you have to put in batteries, 2 AAA, not included)One thing that we noticed is that one of the doorbells seems to stick and you have to press it “just right” to get it to work, the other 3 work fine.My daughter has had a lot of practice with hand-eye coordination, etc, and she can even string beads easily on a string.
