In uncharted waters, the ship, Santa Timea, has collided with a reef, and the sailors set off in the old lifeboats for a hair-raising journey to sheltering shores. As the lifeboats move closer to the islands, water rushes in and sailors get thrown overboard. But it is all done democratically and the majority rules – unless you happen to play the Captains Hat at the right time to overrule everyone.
In Lifeboats, players use their cards to vote for which boat moves closer to safety, which boat springs a leak and who gets thrown overboard. Negotiation skills are a must and backstabbing will not be uncommon – after all, you will do whatever is necessary to get your sailors to shore… and so will everyone else!

This game is just plain crazy fun. Our families play this for a very entertaining evening of fun. None of us have figured out how to win consistently as there are so many twists and turns of fate. We play with all ages. Each brings his/her particular strategy to the board from the young to the old; from the very educated to us just guessers. What a great evening. Thanks for carrying this board game. No electronics and still entertaining. Amazing!!!!
very fun cut throath game a party game with a lot of convincing and voting. You must however play with people who don’t take winning seriously.The product quality is very good since it’s made out of wood. This game is hard to find so grab one if you come across it.
