The Kids Loved it! Sent this with two component parts long distance to 3 and 6 year old nephews. They love it and so does their mom! Engaging enough to keep 2 active little boys sitting productively for a reasonable length of time.
LOVE pattern blocks!!! We own both the plastic and wooden pattern blocks, and use and love both. I love the feel of the wooden ones, and since they have twice the thickness of the plastic ones you can use them to build more vertical structures. They are wonderful for building patterns as well as sorting and counting. My kids even use them for play food! I owned the plastic ones as a kid, and have many fond memories of playing with them for hours.
Fun for kid to play, agony for adult to step on My daughter loves playing with these blocks. She learned all the shapes at an early age because of these. They tend to get underfoot all over the house. If you end up stepping on any of them, especially the triangles, beware, it’s very painful!!! I advise trying really hard to keep them to a very contained area. They also need to make a better lid, it didn’t last too long.
