Build DoubleDare Dueling Coaster, the all-new coaster building set that’s a head-to-head race to the finish! With over 32 feet of multi-colored track and 2 separate runs, DoubleDare combines the fun of thrill ride building with exhilarating racing performance. The set includes 1,054 colorful K’NEX pieces, flexible track system and 2 chrome-coated coaster cars that can race each other, or be combined into one train. Follow the color-coded instructions to build this exciting roller coaster step-by-step. Then switch the motor on to bring the model to life. The motorized chain lift quickly carries opposing cars on separate tracks to the top. As they crest the peak and pass through the starting gate, both cars accelerate through identical, opposing tracks that are full of twists, turns and loops. Spinners positioned at the end of each track indicate which speeding car passes through the finish line first to win the gold. Instructions for a smaller, alternate coaster are available at www.knex.com. DoubleDare is appropriate for builders and roller coaster enthusiasts ages 9 & up. Requires 2 AA batteries.

Math Teacher who LOVES K’Nex for kids I am a Middle School Math Teacher and I purchased some K’Nex projects for my students. Some of the reviews here about K’Nex seem to blame K’Nex because they and their 7-year-old couldn’t get an “instant” toy to appear. My students worked on these projects over the course of weeks, exploring the directions and understanding the “engineering” dynamics of the project. These are more learning experiences than toys. I HIGHLY recommend them for the classroom setting. They definitely link students…
