The food items can be sliced using the cutting board and blunt cutting knife. The cutting knife can be used to separate the Velcro that holds the food items together. Afterwards, just match the food item and put back together again.

Excellent selection of fruits and easy to “cut” for a 1.5 year old and 3 yr old! I love the selection of fruits in this set. The Velcro is the perfect amount, making it easy for my 1.5 year old and my 3 year old to ‘cut’ the fruits in half! I’d recommend getting a grocery shopping basket and a cash register to pretend play shopping! My kids love it!
My kids loved this product My kids loved this product. I had seen something like this in a citrus lane box and it looked like it was made with bamboo or some sort of stronger material. In the end it did not matter because the effects were the same and the details were great. I purchased this for my 2 year old but my 6 year old seemed to enjoy it the most.
Wonderful toy and good quality Daughter loved this even before it was out of the package. She named the fruits and then spent an hour playing with them. Second day she played for less time but still loves this. DD is 2 1/2 years.
