Great toy, but “hide the butter”! Our daughter (24 months old) received this yesterday as a birthday gift and loves it. The toast pops up, it’s super cute… well made and cute enough to have on display in her room when she’t not using it. We love interactive, educational, “role play” toys and this is a great one.
Cute, but… This is a super-cute addition to a pastel toy kitchen, but warning is due to people purchasing it for a toddler: my 2 1/2 y.o. gets her fingers caught up in the lever when the release button is pressed. She’s pretty much learned how to handle the toaster now, but not without a couple of pinched fingers. The slices of butter are stuck together with hook-and-loop fasteners, which have to be turned in just the right direction, so they are a little bothersome for her, too. However, I’m not sure…
Adorable and my daughter loves it! This is an adorable set and my 4 year old loves it. In a previous review I saw someone write it was complicated to separate the butter because of a hook and loop closer which is NOT the case. It is regular Velcro and my daughter can “cut” her butter in seconds and reattach herself it is very simple.
