Family Favorite This is a really fun game. It’s really brought to light just how deceptive my 6 year old can be because she dominates this game. We play on average with 4-5 people. There are 1-2 bad guys, (or more – it depends on the amount of players,) and the rest of the group are good guys. You can choose to play with no special characters, making the game exactly like the resistance. Maybe the BEST party game Avalon is one of the most fun party games I think I have ever played, and it’s a game that our group continually wants to see on the table. The special character cards (Merlin, Assassin, etc.) give it a bit of additional depth for when you group has a grasp on the basic mechanics, but even with them incorporated into the session the game is very easy to understand.
