Perfect for Little Boating Fans! The Galt Wooden Sailing Boat is a great kiddo project! My kids love to paint and do crafts, but this time I got this craft to give since we are approaching the holidays so quickly and I need some good gifts on hand! This kit comes with everything you need and it seems like it is all good quality.
Nice picture but paints don’t produce same image It is now in the closet in a box waiting for a boring lull in my life when I might finish painting it. I spent a week just trying to layer coat after coat after coat of paint just on the bow. All the paint and brush included but you might as well had used water colors. The birthday that it was suppose to be a gift is long over with. Of course there is the taping to be done to get the crisp lines and I have not attempted to do the stripping on the sail yet. Great kids project that is useful. Great project for our 5 yr old to paint and assemble with help. We have used nightly in the bathtub since christmas and it is holding up well. My 3 yr old daughter also likes to play with the boat which floats very well. Sealed the wood with materials supplied with kit and so far so good.
