This classic train set is big! It’s also very fun to build and play with. This train set includes 74 pieces. The model train is 4 cars long and measures 5-6 inches each. It featuring locomotive with headlight, coal car, passenger car, cargo car. There are 5 straight tracks and 12 curved tracks. Each track measures over 8 inches. The total length of tracks is about 12 feet. Train tracks can also be elevated using the high and low columns. The low columns can be stacked together to adjust the height. There are 4 high columns and 22 low columns. You can even make your own bridge! This train set also features a crossing gate. It makes 4 realistic train sounds. Includes many accessories too like trees, signs, and poles. The train uses 4 AA batteries (not included) and the crossing station uses 3 AA batteries (not included).

Cheap but fun I chose this train set because my 5 yr old son was begging me for an electric train set which I really didn’t want to get him since he has a ton of the wooden trains and tracks already. But I decided for the price, I would try this one. It’s cheap quality as you would expect BUT it does work and my son played with it non-stop for weeks after Christmas. Overall, I got what I expected and don’t regret the purchase. It’s a good intro to electric trains for those parents who don’t want to invest…
