Quality Toy I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. She loved it. Even though it is tempting to buy a larger set, this one has just the right amount of tracks and train cars for a child of that age. It is a gift I felt really good about giving, it’s fun, educational and of good quality. Someday her kids might play with it.

Worth The Extra Money I originally bought a cheaper knock off version of a train set for my kids and when it came I was so disappointed that I bought the Brio immediately. The difference was truly amazing! The Brio is super high quality. It all goes together smoothly, the bridge is amazing, the entry and exit way pieces make a huge difference for beginners, like my two year old who can’t quite get a train on the track alone yet. The magnets are strong and do work in both directions so there’s much less…

Track piece split after 1 week I bought this set for my 18 month old granddaughter. She loves playing with it but one of the track pieces split after a week. This set is too expensive for it to break so quickly. Has the quality of Brio sets gone down?
