The game board supports this by simply not having any province destroyed by Ragnarok before the beginning of the game. However, more players need more cards, so this expansion box comes with 24 Gods Gifts cards (8 for each Age deck). All of these cards have the 5 plus players pre requisite listed on them. While most of them are extra copies of cards from the base game, there are a few new ones, like the Widespread! Quest, where you need to dominate any two provinces. .

While it slows the game down some, this is to be expected as this is the case with most games increasing player count. However, the ability to play and share this with more friends is great. Great Addition to Blood Rage Great addition to the core game, especially on game nights when you need 5 player games and you really can’t go wrong with Blood Rage. Adds the Ram clan and miniatures with tokens. More players make Blood Rage more exciting and fun.
if you don’t mind the price! Expensive but what are you going to do to add one more player. I think the game is more fun with 4 since they don’t give you anything extra in the expansion.
