Wobbly Wheels Fall Off Bottom line: the bad design makes the wobbly wheels fall off. The toll-free help number in the box – I am not making this up – rings to an adult chat site ad. Marx Toys name is all over the box and the instructions, but a little research shows they went down in a stock swindle. It is really made in Monterrey, Mexico. If I bring it back to the local ToysRUs store I am out the Andrew Jackson I spent on shipping etc. So since I am a very handy fix-any toy kind of Dad I just keep buying cap-nuts…

Ron PA says:

needs some extra tweaking I noticed a lot of extra space on the axles when I was assembling the big wheels and put some extra washers on to snug up the clearance and it worked good; no slop means no wobbling and no hammering on the end caps so no falling apart. The kid learned to counter-rotate the wheels and spin herself up to about 200rpm–holy cow! Great toy if you’ve got the space; big basement or garage with concrete floors are best; great fun, builds arm strength, wish they had an adult version sometime.

Vicki M. Edwards says:

Crazy Krazy Kar I first bought a Krazy Kar in 1978 for my daughter. It attracted me because it is one of the few toys that uses arm strength to propel it. It was an immediate hit in the neighborhood and was enjoyed for many years. When my granddaughter turned four I thought of it right away and had it shipped to her. She LOVES it, as does her one year old brother who, though he can’t operate it yet, loves to just sit in it. Great toy!
