Cheap product…for good reason We wanted to put a train around the tree and surprise our 4.75 and 2.5 yr old boys on Christmas morning. The assembly was super easy but the train jumps the track kind of easily. When you turn on the engine it starts moving quickly right away and to switch it off you have to grab it off the tracks while it’s in motion. The cars are large but not durable. Something broke off the coal car pretty quickly. We have packed it away and will be considering spending a little more on a better product…
Train It stays on the track well and you can arrange the track into different arrangements. Would not recommend for children under 8.
Not Worth Your Money We purchased one of these for my son yesterday. When we tried to take it out of the styrofoam packaging, one of the sets of wheels came off the caboose, and broke when we tried to snap it back into place. My son is very disappointed in having a brand-new toy break before he even got a shot at playing with it.Other reviewers are also correct in noting how easily the train jumps the tracks. The engine alone is okay, but as soon as you add even a single car, problems arise.
