Excellent addition to the family Very fun variation on the original game. We have played it twice so far and look forward to the next time. It adds a few layers of complexity to the original without feeling like an unnecessary sequel. This is not an extension, it’s a whole new game board and accompanying cards. Price is steep, but will probably play it for a long time.
This one has quickly become my favorite. It adds new challenges and requires more strategy … I own all of the Ticket to Ride games and expansions. This one has quickly become my favorite. It adds new challenges and requires more strategy than most of the others and includes new features that add a lot to the game. The price tag is heftier than the other versions, but it includes a lot more as well. Definitely worth getting!
Good Expansion to Ticket to Ride I purchased this at GenCon (8/2016) for as a present. I’ve played many of the other version and bought this untried. We really like this version of the game. That said, the Great Lakes tickets are very poorly printed. The map background is very difficult to make out, even when they try to ‘highlight’ the regions where the route ends. The World ticket map background is slightly better but still of mediocre quality.
