Spot it! Jr. Animals Spot it! Jr. AnimalsIt’s not your average matching game. Includes five delightful games packed into a travel-friendly tin. How to Play

Spot it! Jr. Animals is played with 31 cards that are each decorated with six colorful animals ranging from the cuddly to the exotic. The animals may vary in size and position, but there is always one, and only one, animal match between any two cards. The aim of the games is always the same: be the first to spot it. The mini games vary in challenge level, starting with the simplest game, “Twins,” which has players racing to find the match between two cards. The first to call it out wins the hand, and then two new cards are played. The player with the most cards wins. In other games, players try to get rid of cards or even look for matches between three cards. Easily adaptable to age and ability, Spot it! Jr. Animals can be played competitively or cooperatively, at a fact pace or while taking your time. But don’t be fooled by the Jr. status, the variety of images will challenge the eyes of all ages!

Learn While Having Fun

Your child will learn to name over 30 animals, expanding their vocabulary and inspiring their curiosity about the animal kingdom. This is a great game to work on visual perception, speech-language skills, and sharpen cognitive processing speed. Handling the round cards exercises children’s fine motor skills as well. Playing Spot it! Jr. is a wonderful way to teach good sportsmanship, turn taking and other important social skills.

Portable Entertainment

The game cards are stored in a durable tin canister that is easy to toss into a backpack or purse, so you can take the fun with you wherever you go. Doctor’s waiting rooms and restaurants will become the perfect opportunities to play a few rounds.

A Great Game for Younger Audiences! My kids love the original Spot It Game, so they were excited when they heard of a few new Spot It Games that were now on the market. This Spot it, is made specifically for younger players and their families. I appreciated this because my youngest has had to work harder to keep up when it comes to the original and travel Spot It! games that we have had in the past. The game is easy enough and encourages all to stay alert and encourages quick thinking. I love this game as a father because the…

3 Year Olds Like It – Great Pattern Recognition Brain Activity My twins just turned three, and we’ve been playing this game for a couple months now. We play in the easiest, most non-competitive way, where the girls flip over two cards at a time and try to find the matching animal. Since the animals on the cards are all different sizes and have different orientations, I think this activity is great fom developing pattern recognition cognitive abilities in my children better than regular matching games.

Lots of fun for kids and parents I really wasn’t expecting much from this game when it showed up but it was on Vine and my daughter (almost 4) is starting to get into games a little more so I figured I’d give it a shot.
