Fun and irreverent play set. Sonic City is pretty much set around creating backdrops that make interactive noises when you move the vehicles over them. It’s actually a novel idea and these playsets do the trick. The Construction Site playset of course evolves around a dump truck and bulldozer doing various things in the site. The plastic board is solid and has various spots that are pressure sensitive. The vehicles have a metal plate underneath the cars that come so close to the surface the wheels barely have enough space…

Damn marketing geniuses! My son was drooling over this ever since the commercials flooded his senses. Well he completed his chore chart and we ordered it. The commercial kind of makes it seem larger, but each set is only about 14″ x 14″ and the cars/trucks are about the size of a hershey’s chocolate nugget. He plays with it off and on, but as with most toys it’s just not as much fun as those commercials lead them to believe. We won’t be buying any further sets.
