Nuts and Bolts Set a hit with the Toddler Grandchild The Jumbo Nuts and Bolts set was a great hit with the grandchild. I liked them mainly for learning colors and shapes, but the grandchild found even more play value in the set, using the bolts as finger puppets and trying the nuts on his fingers, as well. But, even though he’s a 21-mnth old, he was quick to see the nut/bolt connection, even though he couldn’t thread the nuts on easily. We would ask the colors of the pieces as he picked them up, and he would find other pieces of like colors. We…

Love these products My granddaughter has Autism and is SO busy. Being non verbal and 3 is frustrating in its self. When I saw these colorful, large nuts and bolts, I thought she might be interested for a minute. I was wrong! She sat for 47 minutes, touching, smelling and even tasting these toys. Self correcting! What a great buy! I purchased this for a 3 yr old that I teach. During play, we talk about the shapes, verticies, color, and even have races on who can put together the most. After, we count, we can say who had more, we even get into even and odd numbers! They other day, he started building with them, so we stack them too.. I noticed you cannot connect a triangle nut to a square bolt, they have different sized openings! How great! Not to mention, another learning opportunity to compare and…
