Not what I expected flimsy. There are no numbers on the letters, which are cardboard as well as the board. Not at all what I expected. Probably fine for very young age, but not my eight and 10-year-olds.

The biggest minus is the quality of the materials as many reviewers suggested. It’s made of very cheap cardboard. Assuming this doesn’t have to last long since kids graduates for a regular scrabble any time soon, it’s ok, but it’s still too easy to be torn very quickly. I think cardboard is ok, but a better/thicker cardboard should be used.

Gametime with the Grand Kids Purchased as a gift for my grandchildren who are between ages 8-10. I like the way that the game grows with the children and their abilities to create new words.
