Take the train to the farm Fun on the Farm with Trains and Tractors
Take the train out to the farm on the single loop track, to the cow and the horse grazing in the field and deliver the hay bale. Drive the train to the barn and unload the hay into the double height, two story barn. The mechanical, magnetic crane hoists the hay into the hay loft for winter storage. Use the crane to slide the hay out and into the farm tractor and hay wagon and drive it out to the livestock. Turn the bright red knob to raise and lower the hoist. The hay wagon trailer has 2 dowel pegs to secure the load for transport. Be careful to look both ways when crossing the train tracks. When it’s time for the animals to move inside the barn, load them into the train car with the help of the fold out ramp and pull the car with the engine. It’s hours of farm friendly fun with the Farm Railway set. They wear like iron! My son, now 30 yrs old, had a collection of Brio trains. Some were lost over the years and I’ve bought new for my sons’ son! These toys are tough enough to stand up to busy hands and minds. Never any rough edges. Bright colors.
Wonderful addition to train set We bought this for our 3 year old grandson as an add on to his Melissa & Doug Railway Set. It is great that we can buy from several manufacturers to add on to his train set. This is probably his favorite add on. We are impressed with the quality.
Good Starter Kit Our son enjoys the train set, tractor, hay barn and cow very much. We added the track expansion pack and Action Train to this set. He received a Thomas starter kit. He enjoys the different tracks as well as the the variety of cars. The plastic track sections don’t have the quality weighted feel of the other pieces.
