Don’t be put off by the theme, this is a GREAT game! Uwe Rosenberg is mostly known for his massive, farm simulation games like Agricola and Caverna. But here he really shows how elegant of a designer he is by making a 2-player game that feels so original, plays so fluidly, and has a shocking amount of strategy. And it plays in half an hour!
This game is for everyone not just quilt lovers! Very fun & interesting 2 player Tetris styled quilt builder. You don’t have to be into quilts to like this game! We have fun every time we play this game. Neither of us are into quilting. You have your game board in the middle of the table with Tetris styled quilt pieces around it in a circle. You collect those quilt pieces to build your quilt and to earn buttons (money). Whom ever collects the most buttons at the end wins!
You’ll happily play this for years and still find room for … Very simple to learn. My ten year old understood the rules inside of five minutes. The surprise is the depth of strategy. You’ll happily play this for years and still find room for improvement. Highly recommended.
