Great game – Poor Construction Othello is a classic. Unfortunately, unlike the classic boards I remember from when I was a kid, this one is particularly nasty – feels (and looks) cheap and flimsy – the board flexes when you pick up pieces – the pieces are small and smooth enough that if you keep your nails really short, happy days flipping the pieces over :-(Love the game – hate the product itself. Wasn’t exactly cheap – and for the price I expected better quality.

Every new edition a cheaper feel First the good: the game is the same as always, one of the best ever created. And unlike at least one edition, the slots actually hold 32 chips each, which makes storage better especially if you don’t want to fool with keeping the box. The covers are a nice touch. But the board isn’t strong enough; it actually sags just from the little pressing it gets as you flip pieces over in the middle. A Great Strategy Game Othello is one those rare and unique games like Chess, Checkers, and Go that require nothing but strategy to win.
