msrp is $30, not $40 A great twist to the Heroscape franchise. Now offering hand management and deck building along with the already familiar army building found in Heroscape.

Fun game play, but disappointing aspects, too. FULL DISCLOSURE: I’m an avid player and collector of Magic: the Gathering (the collectible card game) and of Heroscape (the original version of this re-branded miniatures-based strategy game).

A Good Light Skirmish Game with Sorcery! So… Confession time. I have never played Magic: The Gathering. Oh, I’ve seen the multitudes at the local game store queuing up on tournament nights, smacking cards down on the table, wearing that smug sense of self-satisfaction on their big stupid faces… But I digress. My point is that I didn’t know exactly what I was getting into with Magic: The Gathering Arena of the Planeswalkers.
