Lionel is a leader for a reason …. My son is really into trains, has several toy train sets, but hasn’t had a model train yet. What a cool set to cut his teeth on! The entire set is very well made, the train itself has some serious weight to it, unlike a cheapo off brand plastic thing. This is a decent size scale, the train itself is only a few inches smaller than a foot long! The controls are easy enough for him (he’s 4) to use on his own – even the app controls were intuitive enough for him! It’s also way cool to see the smoke…
