Very nice set, but the cargo train is more fun I bought this train for my 6 year-old daughter after having given another train, LEGO City Trains Cargo Train 60052, to my 7 year-old son for Christmas. My daughter loved my son’s train so much that I though she should have one of her own. One of the best toys EVER for 7 year olds and older. Wow. This is one of the coolest toys ever. As a train enthusiast, I thought it would be fun to give my Lego-crazed 7-year old son a train to add to his Lego collection. My two cents to make this a great purchase I LOVE Lego City everything and this train is no exception. However, to make this product totally worth your time, I recommend also purchasing (at a minimum) the switch tracks and the flexible tracks. Some reviews state that the train flys off the track at higher speeds, which makes sense…but with additional track pieces, I’ve had zero issues. Furthermore, I modified the two passenger cars.
