Who would have thought…. From all appearances to the discerning adult, these toys just do not make any sense. You look at their whimsical appearance from across the crowded toy aisle, and you see it.. The dolls you remember seeing other kids playing with “back in the day”. Oversized heads, button eyes, and a “roughly stitched with love” appearance to them, that takes you back to the good old days, where you played in the streets till the streetlights kicked on, chased the mosquito truck down the road, because the fog was COOL…Yeah, apparently, that stuff did have an effect on us, because now we have Lalaloopsy dolls. For all their nostalgic appearances, these dolls are substantial. You pick one up, and you just get images of your little precious daughter firmly toned and ripped like a body builder… (The dolls are a lot heavier than they look.)
