The K’NEX Sonic Blizzard Coaster provides builders with 1,138 colorful pieces that make up the coaster’s structure, tracks, and chain lift. Replicating all the twists and turns of a real coaster, this kit lets you create an exciting and elaborate roller ride.

When complete, the roller coaster is 3.6 feet tall and 20 inches across, providing plenty of fast-paced fun. While the finished roller coaster weighs less than 4 pounds, each component piece is designed to provide maximum strength and stability.

Tips for Construction
Before starting, make sure all pieces in the kit are accounted for. Then follow the illustrated instructions and watch as your coaster comes to life.

Our testers found that builders can use one less link for each of the coaster’s chains. The links will not strain, and the motor will continue to pull the chains smoothly. Builders can also mix track colors–though the white and blue tracks call for 13 pieces each, the white only requires 12 and the blue requires 14. The extra white piece can be used anywhere on the blue track.

Watch the Cars Race Around Dual Tracks
Once you’ve built the roller coaster, you’ll love watching both cars race up and down the two opposing tracks. With over 32 feet of total track, the Sonic Blizzard is full of twists, turns, and loops.

Speakers work with any MP3 players. View larger. Thanks to the coaster’s battery-powered motor, you won’t have to pause while you play–each car is propelled by a chain lift and pulled back to the top for endless racing.

Lights and Sound Heighten the Fun
Each coaster car features blinking red or blue lights that flash as it races around the track, making it fun to watch your Sonic Blizzard day or night. Because each car’s lights activate only when the car is in motion, the coaster’s battery lasts longer.

And for some rockin’ roller-coaster fun, the Sonic Blizzard has an included speaker system that attaches to your MP3 device for playing your favorite tunes and accompanying the coaster’s twisting, turning action.
