A perfect game night appetizer This is a very easy to teach/learn tile placement game for 2 to 4 players. All my friends that I play this game with have enjoyed it and many have asked where they can get thier own. Since it is so easy to learn as a light strategy game, I use it as an appetizer to get game night started. The little plastic castles are an enticing little detail that make people want to know what the game is about. Those were a great improvement from the first edition. I have no complaints about this one. Buy…

The description can seem a little tedious, however the gameplay is very enjoyable Although the game has a mediaval fantasy theme, the main factors that are involved in the game are resources (guards, villages etc.), hazards (mosnters) and castles which serve as a multiplier for the other two. This in turn gives the players score.

Great Game with High Quality Components! When I received this game I was blown away by the quality of the components! I am pretty picky about my games and shy away from cheap art and made in China type components. With that being said this is simply a beautiful game-from the tiles to the board. As far as the game itself it is simple to learn, has a high replay value and yet holds a lot of strategy. If you like quality parts and enjoy Knizia’s games you cannot go wrong with this one.
