I would also like to compliment Kidcraft on their excellent customer service Got this as a Christmas present for the kids and it is still going strong after 9 months. Take your time during assembly as some of the screws are different colors. I put the tan screws facing out and the silver ones where they aren’t visible. Also, a 5/32 hex bit in an electric screwdriver made things go a lot faster.

Hubby put together, due to reading the past reviews of it taking a long time to put together, what we did is place each board in the number order 1-30ish, and made sure we followed the instructions one by one, by remaining calm and having the time, it did take long but the instructions were so descriptive we had no problems putting it together. I love this kitchen I love this kitchen! I bought this play kitchen primarily because it is far more attractive than our previous plastic kitchen and because it has far more storage space (it can accommodate our massive collection of play food). It was quite a chore to put the thing together. It took my husband and I about four hours to complete. I expect that my children (now 2 and 4) will play with this kitchen for several years.
