Very disappointed. This register looked perfect for our little shop keeper. However the money gets stuck behind the drawer immediately upon closing the drawer. My son did not have even one hassle free experience with this toy. We tried to take it apart to get the money out from behind the drawer but in addition to having a million screws it also seems to be glued together. Called the company and was told they are working on a solution and they would let us know. Have not heard back. Skip this one.
Great toy with some problems My daughter received this as a gift from her Godmother for Christmas. I suggested this particular cash register because my daughter has the Hape Gourmet kitchen and I really wanted her to have a wooden, non-beeping register to foster imaginative play. The register is cute and has everything a plastic register would minus working display and beeping. Scanner and credit card machine attach with strings. Sometimes these become dislodged while moving the register. No biggie, just reattach and keep…
Almost perfect This is an attractive and durable product, and I would buy it again. The only thing that was an issue is that money slips in behind the drawer, and gets stuck. My husband sawed off the piece of wood that stops the drawer from coming out, and now we can take out the drawer to get the money in the back. I would buy this again.
