A Fantastic Cooperative Card Game That Gets Around the Alpha Gamer Problem! The Grizzled is a cooperative card game from France that puts players into the trenches of World War I. The game’s story revolves around a group of friends who go off to fight the Germans in August, 1914, and the characters depicted in the game are the ancestors of the game’s designers. A number of cards are placed over the dove card. If player’s can work their way through this pile and uncover the dove, they win together. A number of cards are also placed over the monument card. Not bad but very plain. This is a cooperative card game set in World War I. One of the main selling points I’ve seen for this game is that players are not allowed to communicate with each other. While in theory that sounds neat, needing to work together without being able to openly communicate what you need, it isn’t so much a neat feature of the game as it is a needed rule for the game even to work.
