New and Improved Wheels
We upgraded the wheels from the polypropylene plastic that easily breaks, to polyurethane (rubber) wheels. This is a huge innovation that makes for a faster, smoother ride that can handle rougher surfaces. Here’s a quick rundown on the benefits of using polyurethane:The material is more elasticCan rebound- the wheel will return to its original shape quickly after being distorted. These wheels can handle rougher surfaces as it will conform to the shape of a small rock, then quickly rebound to its original shape. This also minimizes the rolling resistance of the wheel so it can ride faster and smoother. Resistant to flat spotting- A lot of wheels will wear in only one spot, which makes an annoying egg-shape that ruins the wheel’s functionality. The polyurethane is more durable, but will wear evenly to prolong the life of the wheel. Won’t scratch hardwood floors ABEC 7 bearings- We also added Abec7 bearings which cause less friction, so these wheels are more durable for longer-lasting fun.

Same as the Plasma car I bought a used Plasma car at a thrift store and my twins loved it but sometimes fought over it so I wanted another one. I bought this swivel car hoping it would be the same car and it’s identical. I’m sure that it’s made by the same people. Save the money and go for the Swivel Car.
better than plasma car I ordered one swivel car and one plasma car. The swivel car is far better than the plasma car. The swivel car had real wheels like on a skate board – not plastic wheels like the plasma car. It is so quiet on smooth on the hardwood floors. I rode it with my 9 month old baby and he loved the ride. So weight limit is good as I bought it for preschool and school age kids. The kids and adults loved it so much I ordered two more and returned the plasma car since it would NOT go on the hard wood…
Great Outdoor Toy! The swivel car was a great hit with my 6-year old granddaughter. She quickly learned to manipulate the car so that she powered it entirely with her arms. The color was bright and cheerful, and we were able to quickly put the car together. I anticipate her having many hours of great fun on this swivel car.
