Not perfect, but fun for our toddler! I like that this comes with a crate, cutting board, knife and peeler. That definitely sets it apart from some of the other sets currently on the market. The food is smaller than Melissa and Doug sets but still a good size for my two year old to play with. My biggest complaint is that the magnets are pretty weak and the food comes apart very easily. Magnets Fell Out The fruits and veggies are a very cute product with many nice details other play food lacks. However, a few of the magnets fell out shortly after the toys arrived making this item unsafe for kids (and any pets in your home) The company did provide quick customer service, offering to replace or refund the item.
I regret purchasing this toy Bought this for my daughter for the holiday. The magnets are not strong enough to keep the wood pieces together so it makes the toy knife useless. Nothing fun happens with the peeler so it’s unnecessary. The box that comes with was broken upon arrival and I had to quickly tape it together to make it presentable (didn’t have any wood glue, didn’t anticipate needing to fix a brand new toy).
