I love this game I love this game. It’s a classic and it’s addictive. It seemed a little mild at first but as me and my lads got more into it, it continued to get more sophisticated to the point where there were over 25 pieces on the board and there was only 2 moves doable.I did get my board stained the first time I got it but I sent it back to Amazon and they got me a new game and it’s perfect. The only issue I have is even with Amazon Prime’s two day shipping, it will NOT come in two days. I…

Great game but not deluxe We love this game. Lots of rule variations that allow the game to grow with player ability. It’s a quick, fast-moving game. Unfortunately, the stones are very irregular –some were even broken upon arrival. The uneven stone sizes make it hard to see the diagonal moves. The board is like a large mouse pad it is stored rolled but lays flat well. Overall, a great game but moderate, not deluxe material quality.

but otherwise I could not be happier! I have been looking for this version of Pente for YEARS now, and was shocked at the $80+ pricetag! The roll-up board and glass tokens were how I learned to play and I wanted to keep them. I was cautious because of the cardboard-board sized box, but it’s exactly what I wanted. I’m giving four stars because my roll-up board has some shadowy stains on it, but otherwise I could not be happier!
