A great substitute for the real thing! I know I’m not the only parent out there who was looking for a distraction from the real remote! This toy has worked well so far — it’s appearance, light up features, and remote-like buttons have convinced our 6 month old that this remote must surely be just as yummy as the real thing. I really like that there are no stickers that could easily peel away with drool and the easily accessible on/off switch. Tip: We keep this toy with our remotes (instead of the toy box) and occasionally pretend…

Very Annoying! In my opinion this toy is very annoying. The songs are annoying and the voice, which sounds like an adult trying to sound like a child, is particularly irritating. I can feel my eye start to twitch just thinking about it.

Linzstar says:

Great Decoy! Our son is 10 months and he’s very interested in the remote control. Mostly he just wants to chew on on it and we’re not happy about that for numerous reasons. My husband suggested getting him a toy remote and I thought that this one looked the most realistic. We keep it with the other remotes and whenever he gets interested in them we pretend to use this one and then let him have it. It has sounds, music and flashing lights, but most of the time I keep it off.
