BEST laptop for kids My 4 year daughter (just turned 4) wanted a more challenging laptop to play. So I spent hours researching online debating between laptops and tablet style options. This is what I wanted:
Would be better if mouse worked! I gave this to my son for Christmas. He seems to be really enjoying it, but only after we gave up on using the mouse. The plug has to be held in the port for the mouse to stay responsive. If you aren’t pressing on the jack the mouse either won’t work or the plug just falls out of the port. The touchpad is also tricky at first. You have to actually press down as you move your finger across it, unlike actual laptops where you only need to touch gently.
