We got a lemon. Not nearly as sturdy as the orange version. My 18 month old had the earlier orange version of this microphone and it was nice and sturdy. We bought it used and it stopped working after about a year. We thought it was worth the investment to replace it since he loved it so much, and so we bought this version since it had better reviews. My daughter received this as a gift for her first birthday decided to throw it in the tub so i purchased a replacement.
