Works well for a child who’s not too big. We purchased the John Deere Foot to Floor Tractor for our 2 yr. old nephew and it’s perfect for him. On the small side, but still fun for the appropriate age group… I purchased this for my 2 yr old & I was surprised at how small the tractor was once it arrived. I feel that the age range the manufacturer uses is off. The toy would be too small for most two year olds… ages 12-18 mths would be ideal. Since my son was too big for it, we gave it to my nephew for his first birthday and he loved it. So we were able to see that it is a fun and functional toy with a simple design & easy for little ones maneuver (as long as they are the appropriate size/age).
