A true age appropriate toy for toddlers (age 2-3) This is the third set we have ordered for our grandson. The first was around six months ago. His primary focus with that set was to put pieces together. He spent a lot of time doing this but after a couple of months he needed a second set because he used all the pieces and wanted to make bigger objects. Pretty awesome but not perfect (if you’re an engineer) So this is a nice toy. that said, it’s not great. The colors are nice, the plastic good quality. cute storage bag. BUT there are not enough pieces in the single set to build most of the things shown on the build-this-cool-toy sheet included! In fact, you’d need about two full sets to build some of them. For example, the instructions showed five links in the chain toy. I could build two with my pieces.
Not For Toddlers I really have not looked that closely at the product itself. I have a problem with it being advertised as being for toddlers. I never scrolled all the way to the bottom where it says “Choking Hazard. Not for children under 3.” I bought this toy for an almost 2 yr. old and needless to say, I was not very happy to see on the package that it is not for children under 3 – unless they are supervised.
