Great Family Game! Reiner’s Best Game in Years? Quest For El Dorado is a great family game! It mixes deck-building (one of my favorite game mechanics) with action on a board. It’s the best game to do this since “Trains” all the way back in 2013 or so! I’m amazed more games haven’t used this idea. I think has a lot of potential.
This is a great little game This is a great little game. Everything I’ve come to expect from Reiner Knizia. Simple, easy to learn, easy to teach; and yet with different layers of strategy to keep you coming back for more. I especially like the super quick gameplay. This is a good deck building game to add to your collection. My only quibble is I’m not personally a fan of the smaller cards, but that’s a minor issue.
