So far moderate success with the Scoot 2 Pedal Jury is still out on this trike- seems like a good design in theory, but our experience with our 1.5 – 2 year old boy has been mixed so far.First off our boy is pretty well coordinated for an almost 2 year old. He is definitely adept at scooting- but scooting has not worked well so far with this trike because the back wheels are in the way of his legs as he tries to scoot, i.e. as he pushes with one leg, the back wheel on the other side hits his other leg and stops the trike. Very good, except for the fact that when they are … Very good, except for the fact that when they are NOT using the peddles, the back end is so wide that they hit their heels on the back. They learn to avoid it, but cant get a faster push. Seems like a feature that suffered from designing it for form over function. Otherwise a decent option./
Real Flyer Bought for my grandbaby who broke her leg! Our 2 yr old still needed to be mobile so this is the ultimate rescue vehicle! Now the cast is off and the pedals flip in and out…SO OFF WE GO!!!
