Worth the investment and a joy to play All the complaints on here about this product are well taken. But what do you expect at this price point? For what you pay, I think you get more for the money than you should. I have now purchased 90 cars for my kids and tons of track and extras and we have a really cool looking train set for them to play with at a fraction of the price of a hobbiest one. Power Trains Starter Set- Train Station My son likes this train set. He likes the motorized engine, but was surprised that it didn’t come with any cars. So we bought extra cars to go with this set. He also likes the connectable tracks and cars, and the realistic looking train station.
Great kit even for younger kids Great kit even for younger kids. My son is 12 and loves his PowerTrains. He’s always looking for rare trains and cars. I purchased this set for my nephew who turned 3 and he hasn’t been able to put it down. My only gripe is for a starter set it is very limited in track pieces. 8 ft is nothing and doesn’t allow for anything other than the standard oval configuration. Also the set only comes with a single train. I feel they could at least include a car to attach to it but you get what you…
