No pedals or batteries required – our space-age ride-on car relies on gravity, friction, and kid-power! Simply turn the steering wheel to make it go, go, go. So much fun, kids never dream they’re getting a spectacular workout. Operates silently; all you’ll hear are the giggles. So sturdy, it supports up to 220 lbs. on smooth surfaces (or 120 lbs. on uneven terrain). 15-minute assembly. For ages 3 and up. Winner of the Oppenheimer Gold Star Award To clean, wipe with damp cloth and dry with soft clean cloth Dimensions: 30 1/2″L x 13″W x 16 1/2″H Capable of reaching up to 2.8 meters per second (.00174 mps / 6.263 mph)

The streamlined and colorful PlasmaCar requires no batteries, gears, or pedals–simply hop on and go. Turning the steering wheel propels the vehicle forward and steers it as well. The easy operation will have your child driving, turning, and cruising all over the house in no time. Recommended for kids aged three to eight years, the car holds up to 220 pounds so older children and parents might be tempted to take it for a spin when no one is looking.

Simple, Fun Operation

The PlasmaCar is a well-designed toy that provides a thrill that belies its simple, colorful look. Driving around the house, maneuvering nooks and crannies, and going in reverse never lost its appeal for our testers. They were surprised by just how much speed the car was able to pick up considering its manual operation.

Our testers found the PlasmaCar rides best on hard flat surfaces. Carpet, grass, gravel, and other “rough” surfaces diminished the toy’s ability to propel forward.

Develop Motor Skills While Having Fun

The PlasmaCar rewards good hand-eye coordination and fluid movements and provides a fun way for kids to get exercise while keeping occupied. As kids learn to drive faster and more precisely, they will be developing motor skills. Young children who have trouble propelling the car forward by steering can still have fun on the PlasmaCar by pushing off with their feet.

Because it has no electronics or motor, this toy is pleasantly quiet making it appropriate for indoor and outdoor use.

Durable Design Holds Children up to 220 Pounds

The PlasmaCar is the winner of multiple awards, and our testers had to agree with the consensus: it is a truly superior toy. The PlasmaCar has a durable design that can accommodate children up to 220 pounds. Our testers suggest that adults meeting this threshold hop on and go for a ride themselves. The car is deceptively simple but a lot of fun.

Quick, Easy Assembly

Putting the PlasmaCar together took our testers only a few minutes and required a rubber mallet and a screwdriver. In just a few simple steps, parents should be able to have the car ready for play.

Wonderful All Ages Toy! This is a life saver in my house! I have three children that vary in age from 1 to 10 years old. All love this car! Now, the one year old is not quite ready to ride on his own yet, but he is very happy to have his big sister (3 1/2) to drive him around. She rides her purple Plasma car every day for long periods of time. It is totally kid powered and easy to drive. It takes a moment to get used to how the wheel must move back and forth to start the friction, but kids seem to catch on very well. The cars are very sturdy and big enough for my 10 year old son to ride as well. They can hold up to 200 pounds on a smooth surface and 110 pounds on a rough surface. The cars can be used indoors or outdoors. We own two, and my daughter and oldest son like to race down the driveway together. The cars also turn on a dime! They can maneuver very well getting around our tables and other furniture. It’s a great toy to get your kids active and away from the TV all the time. I love the…

Most fun you can have on wheels. Even for your kids! This toy is just plain fun. Even for your kids! In fact you might have to get them one as well! It started when we ordered a couple for our two grandkids. Both boys. One barely walking and the other a 4 year old that doesn’t know the meaning of walk. Once we got these put together we saw how much fun they were we had to find a reason to order more, so we decided our niece and nephew needed them as well. The specifics:1. The toy is easy to put together. All you need is a hard rubber mallet (a block of wood and a claw hammer works just as well), and a Philips screwdriver. (You will not need to put in any screws but you will need the screwdriver with the included socket tool to help you tighten the nut on the steering shaft). There is a good video on YouTube about how easy it is to put together.2. The toy is sturdy. Check out some of the plasma car race video’s on YouTube to see how sturdy this toy is. (In no way do I suggest this is the way to treat the…
