First feedback + an update 2 years later To be honest, I haven’t totally made up my mind about the appropriate star rating for this play set yet but since there are no other reviews wanted to share information for others who are considering it.
Lovely tableware for small hands Would I have preferred to have this tableware in solid wood? Not so clear. This alternative seems environmentally responsible, and what’s more, all the items are attractive (even elegant) and feel good to the touch. Much nicer than the ones made out of recycled plastic, and a perfect size for small toddler hands. My two year old grand-daughter loved them instantly and went right to work creating a fabulous play-doh dinner of waffles, bagels and peas. I’m completely satisfied with this purchase.
Prefer the solid wood version This set is made from Plan Toy’s new “Planwood” which is a composite material. Check out their website for more info on that. I REALLY prefer the former version of this set which was made from solid wood. I am disappointed that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find solid wood Plan Toys.
