Surprisingly Fun and Effective I have two sons who are very interested in knights and castles, as well as the associated weaponry. They wanted to get their father a catapult for his birthday. They worked together on the assembly and then enjoyed using their creation to launch Play-Doh balls across the kitchen. It works! You can really get some distance with this little contraption. As you might imagine, they decided dad needed a trebuchet for Christmas.

Bought for my 10 year old son I bought this as a project to share with my 10 year old son. We put it together in less than half an hour (other than some time to let the glue dry). He had a blast, learned a lot, and was thrilled with the whole process. The kit was very easy to assemble.
