Nice affordable set of wooden trains. This set comes with a nice assortment of colorful engines and cars. The variety is top notch. As far as play goes, the engines link up well enough with our Brio trains. The magnets feel weaker, but there haven’t been any problems of breaking coupling. They also roll smoothly on the tracks. One of my gripes with this set comes from a lack of quality control on a few of the pieces. The engine labeled “narrow guage” has its magnets on with reverse polarity from the other engines. This…
uses magnets to connect train cars i love this especially since the train cars are connected by magnets. My 3 year old grandson understands that you have to put the positive side of the magnet with the negative side. The trains are well constructed and have been played with for multiple hours without and parts falling off. If you are debating on getting a beginner train set i highly recommend this. mainly because the trains that connect with a hook and loop come apart very easily, which frustrated my grandson.
